Are you being the creator of your masterpiece?
I heard a quote yesterday while I was listening to a podcast that I wanted to share with you. It was powerful! The quote is attributed to Michelangelo and it reads, “ I saw the angel in the marble, and I carved into it until I set him free.” Wow! I’ve always been fascinated by sculptures. I’m awed by individuals who can look at a piece of wood or stone, see something in it, and then proceed to create a stunning piece of art. I’ve been a bit jealous actually. In my mind, I’ve thought, “WOW! I wish I could do that. I wish I had that clarity of vision to be able to look at that raw piece of material see the masterpiece before it exists.”

Yesterday, after hearing that quote, I had an epiphany. And I also saw myself as the sculptor of my own life. I saw myself as a mentoring artist helping others to be the sculptors of their own lives. I was so excited!

Each one of us is born with unique gifts and talents. Each one of us come into this world as raw material with unlimited potential. I know you’ve heard it said It takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round. Wouldn’t it be boring if we were all the same? Thank GOD for diversity.

Do you see your potential? Do you have an area in your life where you know there is something more for you? Do you feel in your gut that you were meant for something more…whether it be in your relationships, your career, your health and wellness, your finances? How do we turn that potential into a masterpiece? It starts with a decision to do something different.

Personal Development, for instance. Personal Development allows us to develop those gifts and talents. It gives us the opportunity and the training to become the masterpiece that we were created to be by showing us what doesn’t belong in the raw material of our lives. What kinds of things are we talking about here? Poor thought patters, behaviors, habits, hang-ups. Maybe you are holding on to feelings and emotions that don’t serve you, like comparison, unforgiveness, anger, perfectionism, fear of failure. Maybe someone along the way graffitied your masterpiece. OK. Let’s clean it up and keep moving. There are some many ways we create stumbling blocks for ourselves. We are going to be diving deep into some of these things in the near future.

It’s up to each one of us to determine how much of our masterpiece gets revealed and he masterpiece only gets revealed through the process of the carving. Sometimes that carving process is painful…but the results can be massively rewarding. Many times, it’s helpful to have someone come alongside you in this journey and you may feel it’s beneficial to hire a coach. Whether it be a life coach, a fitness coach, or a financial coach. It’s important to have someone on your journey who can see the 30,000 foot view to be able to see what may be in your way. Sometimes we are too emotionally attached to the stuff, the circumstances, the emotions to see what needs to be changed. We can’t see the forest because of the trees. If you resonate with what I’m saying, let’s schedule a call and see if we would be a good match to work together. I am a certified transformational mindset coach and I would love to be your mentor for your masterpiece.

I want to leave you something I heard from one of my favorite mentors, Tony Robbins. He said, “ We are not managers of our lives. We have the ability to be creators. We can create our life on our terms if we get a clear enough vision, if we can inspire ourselves enough and if we can overcome the fears and limitations within this mind and push through the pain. Then, anyone on earth can have an extraordinary business, an extraordinary life, an extraordinary family.”

Are you ready to be EXTRAORDINARY???

About me...

My name is Susan Halaut and I am a mom of a blended family with 4 boys. In the beginning, life was a challenge. There were days when I didn’t want to go home after work. Home was not a safe harbor. Home was more like an emotional battleground. Driving home, I felt like I had to put on armor to prepare for the battle that awaited me when I walked in the door.

Have you ever felt like that? Do you feel like that now?

It was lonely. It was stressful. It was exhausting. It was defeating. It was everything my husband and I didn’t expect it to be when we first fell in love.

Today, our family is not perfect…but it has become a place where we (parents and kids) want to run to…not away from.

It is my mission to equip, empower and uplifting families with tools, techniques, tips and strategies that will transform their lives… healing their hearts, bringing peace to their storm and helping them to raise the children they are responsible for and become better leaders themselves.

I want to give parents freedom to know that while none of us are perfect parents, we can be effective parents.

I want to make a difference in this world by leaving a legacy where the next generation is a world filled with strong, powerful, authentic, purposeful families who are intentional about leading and guiding children into reaching their fullest potential.

What about you?

What if there was a light at the end of the tunnel?

How would your life be different?
- if you felt like your kids and partner listened to you
- if you could authentically connect with your stepchildren
- if you could effectively communicate with your ex and their partner
- if you could learn to parent together with your current partner
- if you learned to love and value yourself and find peace within

It's never too late to become a stronger family. It's never too late to empower yourself and your family to create the life your family deserves.

Let's work together to help you create a home where all members feel loved, valued, respected, connected and accepted.
